About Solar Briefly
Honest, independent information about home solar and energy savings.
Solar Briefly exists to answer the practical money questions people actually have before investing in solar panels, home batteries, and energy-efficiency upgrades: What will it really cost? How long until it pays off? Is it worth it for my situation?
It's a one-person, independent project. I research and write every guide myself, with no company or sales team behind it.
How I research
Each guide is compiled from manufacturer specifications, published pricing data, government energy resources, and industry reports. I update articles as prices, incentives, and technology change, and I note when a page was last reviewed.
My promise
- I explain trade-offs, not just upsides.
- I use plain language and real numbers.
- I tell you when something is not worth it.
Important note
This is an independent information site, not a licensed energy or financial advisor. Always confirm figures with local installers and check current incentives before making a purchase. See thefull disclaimer.
